Everyone said it was the strange weather of no snow and very cold weather, but I never noticed that prior to my leaving on April 2nd. Anyway, another major casualty was almost all Blueberries in the Boreal Forests here. The News said that it will be years before they can recover and produce again.

Last Summer, there were no berries of any kind in the Garden or the wild and most fruit trees like Apples and Cherries produce extremely little to nothing. Very bizarre times.

Glad things are working out for you there. Even when the forest behind our house did produce well, I still hated going picking and being eaten alive by Mosquitos.Chaparral Earthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00618976919417073750noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3827857515189667911.post-53919103843252179492013-08-24T08:53:04.325-07:002013-08-24T08:53:04.325-07:00OKAY, OKAY, I PROMISE TO TRY IT NEXT YEAR.OKAY, OKAY, I PROMISE TO TRY IT NEXT YEAR.Lee Reichhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01706667868301897739noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3827857515189667911.post-29883461466917063862013-08-24T08:44:34.789-07:002013-08-24T08:44:34.789-07:00This year was extra busy and I left the scapes on ...This year was extra busy and I left the scapes on about half my garlic. The differences were dramatic. The de-scaped garlic were big and beautiful, the rest 1/2 to 1/4 the size. Garyhttp://garysgarden.orgnoreply@blogger.com
